Engagement Photo in Central Park | Jen & Xan 11.13.2024

This November, we had the joy of capturing Jen & Xan’s engagement photo in Central Park. With their wedding coming up next year, this evening session felt like the perfect way to celebrate the love and anticipation leading up to their big day. The season was late autumn—there was a touch of chill in the air, yet the golden evening sun wrapped everything in a gentle warmth.

We began at The Mall @centralparknyc, where the long rows of American elm trees created a timeless setting. The quiet path was filled with falling leaves, a reminder of how fleeting yet beautiful each moment can be. From there, we walked toward Bethesda Terrace, with its iconic arches and soft evening light spilling across the stonework. Just steps away, Bethesda Fountain became a backdrop full of history and grace, its Angel of the Waters standing tall as the city moved quietly around us.

As the sun dipped lower, we ended at Bow Bridge, where the light reflected softly over the lake. Jen & Xan laughed together, holding onto each other in the crisp air, and the city seemed to pause just for them.

It was a simple evening, yet one filled with warmth, joy, and the promise of what’s to come. Photographing an engagement photo in Central Park at this time of year reminded us that love has its own seasons—always growing, always shining, no matter the chill in the air.
